PRINCIPAL
Eric Wright PE LEED AP

Eric joined the building industry when he was 18-years-old working as a co-op Mechanical Engineer and developed a passion for Consulting Engineering in the building industry. After he graduated with a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron in 2009, he began working as a graduate Mechanical Engineer focused on HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design. Eric gained over a decade of engineering experience on hundreds of projects in various market sectors such as K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Data Centers, Libraries, Commercial Offices, Industrial Food Plants, and Performing Arts Theaters. In addition, Eric received substantial professional training in management and leadership; Eric has been an Engineering Project Manager for several years. A majority of Eric’s project experience is working directly with Facility Operators to improve their existing mechanical systems. Over the years, Facilities Operators, End-Users, and Contractors have taught him how to convert ideology and theory into practicality, thereby improving the quality of design documentation which is the foundation for successful projects. Eric is passionate about Engineering and seeks to improve the energy efficiency, longevity and maintenance ability of engineered systems.
PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Roger McManus PE

Roger began empowering Wright Engineering in 2022 by starting and managing the WE Electrical Engineering Department. He graduated from the Ohio State University in 2012 and has been working as a Consulting Electrical Engineer ever since. He has acted as the Lead Electrical Engineer and Project Manager on projects in various markets such as K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Hyperscale Data Centers, Libraries, Commercial Office Space, Water/Wastewater Facilities, and Performing Arts Theaters. He enjoys leading a team as much as he enjoys being part of one. Roger has a great deal of experience with lighting systems, miscellaneous electrical devices, fire alarm systems, IT structured cabling and devices, miscellaneous low voltage system (security, CCTV, nurse call, etc), SCADA controls, electrical distribution, facility assessments, and power system studies including arc-flash studies. Roger realizes that communication is a key component to success in the industry and strives to make that a top priority.

Dave Wagar

Dave joined Wright Engineering in February 2020 and is responsible for managing the entire production department, which includes all drafting, 3-D coordination and BIM. Dave has been in the MEP consulting business for nearly two decades. In that time, he has become an expert in AutoCAD and Revit software. He is an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit Mechanical systems and has over ten years of design experience, designing air and hydronic distribution systems for a multitude of industries. Dave and Eric have worked together as a team for over 10 years.

Devin Pearcy PE

Devin has 5 years of experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings. His primary specialties have been healthcare and higher education, but he also has experience designing K through 12, office space, manufacturing, and retail. He is involved in projects from conception through completion with a detail-oriented focus that results in better buildings for the Owner. Devin and Eric have worked together for 5 years.

Ryan Brown PE CPDT

Ryan joined Wright Engineering in September 2020 and is a project manager and experienced HVAC /plumbing systems engineer. Ryan also oversees the company expansion and business development in Florida, where he lives. He has been in the MEP consulting business for over 10 years. In that time, he has become an experienced engineer, commissioning agent, and Revit user/teacher. His experience has been focused on Commercial Infrastructure, Data Center Design/Commissioning, and Commercial Offices. He is a Certified Plumbing Design Technician and a member in his local ASHRAE and ASPE chapters. Ryan and Eric have worked together as a team for over 10 years.

Dustin Clouse CPDI

Dustin joined Wright Engineering in May of 2021. He has 23 years of industry experience with the last 12 years focused on Plumbing Design. In that time Dustin has become an exceptional plumbing engineer and an expert in AutoCAD and Revit software. He is involved with projects from start to finish. Dustin is detailed, modest and easy to work with. He is also a Certified Plumbing Designer and has trained many other designers in the trade.

Evan Miller PE

Evan joined Wright Engineering in July of 2021. For more than 9 years, Evan has worked as a HVAC design engineer with experience in commercial offices, healthcare, education, and various other industries. Technical experience includes knowledge of load calculation software Trane Trace and drafting programs including Revit and AutoCAD. Evan seeks to improve building comfort, usability, and function through effective project design to meet the client’s needs.

Tom Myers PE

Tom joined Wright Engineering in September 2021. He has worked in the MEP consulting industry since 2007. In 2010, Tom graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio. Project experience includes HVAC design of commercial buildings, healthcare, data centers, higher education, libraries, and performing arts theaters. Tom also enjoys working on control system integration and boiler plant upgrade projects. Eric and Tom have worked together since 2007. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, golfing, reading, cooking, and gardening.

Corey Lawrence, PE

Corey joined Wright Engineering in November of 2022. He has 7 years of experience within the AEC consulting industry. His experience as an HVAC and plumbing design engineer has been focused on healthcare facilities, commercial offices, industrial facilities, data centers, schools, and commissioning. He enjoys creating efficient and reliable designs as well as solving problems for clients to improve comfort and dependability of their building systems. When he is not hard at work he loves spending time with his beautiful wife and 3 kids, including hiking in the mountains, walking on the beach, or chauffeuring all the little ones to sports.

Nathan Boring, PE

Nathan joined Wright Engineering in October 2021, bringing his youthful vigor and detailed determination. His experience in HVAC design began in 2017 and brought him into the field Full‑Time in 2019. Nathan has experience in Healthcare Facilities, Commercial Offices, and Industrial Facilities. Nathan’s free time is spent enjoying time with his wife and two sons and leading at his home church in Ravenna.

Josh Daugintis

Josh joined Wright Engineering in December 2021. He has 13 years of industry experience. He is an experienced CAD and BIM designer who has worked on a wide variety of project types including wastewater treatment plants, hospitals, schools, and data centers. Solid management capabilities with a consistent track record of anticipating consequences of new designs, initiating solutions, and completing projects to specification. He is very detail driven with outstanding communication skills and proven success interfacing with both customers and co-workers. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. His experience includes support for both design and construction teams. Proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit BIM design, development, maintenance, and coordination.

Bryce McKenzie

Bryce has been part of the consulting industry as an engineer since 2019 when he started his first co-op. Since then, he has worked on a large array of projects such as schools, libraries, commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, housing, and food processing facilities. Through working on these projects, Bryce has gained technical experience in load calculation software, equipment selection software, and various design standards and code requirements. Bryce continues to strive to give clients designs catered to their specific needs without compromising on quality of work.

Thad Frost

Thad entered the construction business as a rough carpenter at age 19 learning how to frame new houses. He went on to learn high-end residential and commercial remodeling including drywall, roofing, cabinetry, hardwood floors, etc. in the years to come. At age 25, Thad got into property management and helped manage 140 senior living apartment units in Stow, OH. Thad had the passion and knowledge base to then start his own real estate investment business at age 26 and bought his first property. He has owned as many as 5 properties at one time and has leased out and managed them personally as a landlord. Looking to diversify, Thad bought an escape room business in Kent, OH and personally operated it for 3.5 years. During that time, Thad became proficient in AutoCad and Revit and has worked as a Revit technician specializing in mechanical engineering modeling and design.

Jacqueline Brown

Jacqueline joined Wright Engineering in September 2021. As a former Parent Teacher Organization President and Florida Organization of Institutional Learning Event Coordinator, she brings a high level of organization and professionalism to our staff. Jacqueline provides excellent customer service and is very detailed in her work.
